Welcome back to SRWC

Welcome back! We hope your return to on-site work this month has been smooth. If this is your first time on-site, we’re glad to have you. Stanford Redwood City Operations would like to remind you about specific processes to help you feel safe and informed at work.

  • You can see in which buildings COVID-19 positive individuals were present and their last date on campus on Health Alert’s publicly viewable potential exposure list. As a reminder, you will be contacted directly by Stanford’s Environmental Health & Safety office if you were a contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

  • Stanford will suspend the requirement of weekly asymptomatic surveillance testing beginning March 1 for vaccinated employees. You’re strongly recommended to test whenever you are experiencing symptoms, concerned about possible exposure or returning to campus from travel.

  • Test kits can be picked up at the SRWC Recreation & Wellness Center Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please bring your badge to pick up kits. The activated kit dropbox is available 24/7 in front of Cardinal Hall on Warrington Avenue.

  • All floors of Barron Parking Garage are accessible and elevators 1 and 2 are operational from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • If you are hosting others at SRWC, you must pre-register your visitors in Envoy, SRWC’s visitor management tool, and fill out the attestation form. All individuals who do not have badge access to campus buildings are considered visitors, even your colleagues from the main campus.

  • If you’ve forgotten or misplaced your ID badge, you must contact your departmental Point of Contact to get assistance. The lobby ambassadors no longer have temporary badges to issue. For general help, the lobby ambassadors are reachable via email at srwc_lobbies@stanford.edu.

  • Please have your Stanford ID visible at all times and do not tailgate or piggyback behind someone entering a building.

  • An Allied Universal security officer can escort you to your car (or from) by calling the Operations team 24/7 at (650) 723-7792. Please allow 15 minutes for this service.

  • If you see something, say something. In an emergency situation, call 911. If outside on campus and you feel unsafe, you can also call from the blue emergency towers to connect with emergency dispatch.

If you need to contact the Operations team for building issues, custodial services, or other support, submit a service request. For a full rundown of what you need to know, visit and bookmark the Returning to On-site Work page on the SRWC website.
