    • Click on 'Health and Safety' on the panel on the left
    • Check Blue Towers/Emergency Phones to view locations across campus
    • Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are located on every floor of the building near the elevators
  • Meeting rooms — walk up or reserve ahead through Outlook

  • Lending library - Between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, Stanford staff can pick up library materials at the Academy Hall lobby desk and return materials in the bookdrop

New Employee Resources

1. Use your Stanford ID card or the Mobile Key app for exterior doors and elevators. See Card Access & Security if you have issues.

2. Update your building address and mail code in StanfordYou so you receive AlertSU emergency messages specific to SRWC.

3. Set up your workstation ergonomically using the SRWC ergonomics guide. Watch the chair adjustment tutorial before your first day at your desk.

4. Join the SRWC Slack workspace. If not, contact srwc-operations@stanford.edu to be added.

 Workplace Etiquette

Noise etiquette Keep noise levels considerate in shared and open-plan spaces. Use phone booths for calls.

Shared spaces Return shared furniture and equipment to its original position after use.

Kitchen & common areas Keep shared spaces clean. Label your food and dispose of expired items promptly.

Visitor registration Always register visitors in advance using the visitor policy system.

Sustainability Recycle correctly and reduce single-use items where you can.

Building security Never prop open exterior doors. Secure your space when you leave for the day.
