The SRWC Operations Hub, the campus’s newest addition at 585 Broadway, will serve as a focal point for campus operations to increase efficiency and as a forward-facing site to better serve the campus community.
The site previously served as the mail and packages sorting hub before it reached the anchor points, but has since been expanded to include a lobby, surplus store, a repair workshop and a security command center.
As we progress through the stages of recovery, work orders will now be processed quicker as the requisite tools and equipment are in one place. The space was designed to maximize organizational efficiency.
Also, before the launch of the facility, contractors and vendors were dispersed across campus with no base. The Operations Hub now brings together UG2 and Allied Universal personnel under one roof and serves as a landing spot for all other contractors and vendors.
