Cleaning and Maintenance
Stanford Redwood City has partnered with Service by Medallion for the custodial needs of our buildings and grounds.
Custodial Service Schedule:
Day: 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Evening: 6:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
Please submit a Service Request for all campus needs, from restocking water points to refilling printer paper. Learn more about the process and discover which request fits your needs.
Cardinal Clean
Cardinal Clean is Stanford’s free, powerful and green cleaning standard. The Cardinal Clean machine electrifies tap water and oxygen to produce a completely sustainable, safe and effective multi-purpose disinfectant. It kills 99.99% of germs, virus, and bacteria for 24 hours after dispensing, and is it non-toxic and non-irritant for your health.
Workstations
Staff are responsible for emptying their desk mini bins. These mini bins are intended for recycling and landfill and are not for organic materials.
Common Areas
Commons areas include Anchor Points, Meeting Rooms, Plazas, and Water Points. Dispose of all organic material at the water points or plaza. Trash, recycling, and composting receptacles are emptied Monday through Friday every afternoon. Please tidy up after yourself during the day as a courtesy to your colleagues.
Fridge Cleaning
Fridges will be cleaned on the last Sunday of every month. Food will not be removed or discarded. Water Point and Plaza signages will soon feature upcoming cleaning dates.
